Nestled within 8 acres of award-winning gardens and pastureland, this elegant Georgian manor house, originally built in 1779, provides the perfect rural retreat in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
As an aid to total relaxation, during your stay you can visit the hotel's health club, complete with a 12-metre indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, solarium, gym, dance studio, health and beauty treatments, croquet lawn and 2 floodlit tennis courts.
Despite the peaceful location, the hotel is just 3 miles from the Roman City of Chester, which houses a number of important historic sites, including remains of an amphitheatre, the cathedral and the city walls.
Conveniently located to take advantage of the national motorway network, Rowton Hall offers a comprehensive range of conference and banqueting suites making it the ideal venue for meetings, functions or conferences and corporate events for up to 200 guests.
The hotel has 4 main conference suites, with 2 smaller rooms available for use as syndicate rooms.
The Ball Room:
A beautiful room with an adjoining conservatory which overlooks the
hotel’s picturesque gardens. The room can accommodate up to 120 guests.
The Inglenook:
With many of the original features evident, including the inglenook fireplace and high ceilings, the Inglenook can accommodate up to 45 guests.
The Adam Lounge:
A small cosy room ideal for accommodating up to 30 guests.

By Car:
- Take the M56.
- Exit at junction 15.
- Join the M53.
- Exit at junction 12.
- At the roundabout, take the third exit, onto the A56 to Chester.
- At the next roundabout, turn left on to the A41 to Whitchurch.
- Follow straight through to the second roundabout and turn left, continuing along the A41.
- Follow the road for approximately one mile, the sign for Rowton Hall will be on your left and the hotel is situated at the end of the next lane on the right.
By Air:
Manchester Airport is 40 minutes by road.
Helicopter landing is available on request.
By Train:
Chester Railway station is 4 miles from Rowton Hall.
